Efva Attling opened her workshop in 1999 at Hornsgatan nr. 42 in the southern part of central Stockholm. Her jewelery fast became a must-have among Stockholm’s trendiest people. When Madonna started wearing her “Homo Sapiens” necklace regularly in public, the wide spread recognition and PR hype was officially underway.
